It's comfortable, the wheel and it's associated clicks feel great, it has plenty of programmable buttons in all the right places and doesn't require the driver to stay installed once you've got the buttons programmed. Also the middle and sideways wheel buttons on the Performance MX aren't great. Make sure the get the old versions of the M705, the new version doesn't have the thumb rest button. Both have the same functionality as the MX mice but are much more comfortable in small hands. Many reviews say it's easy to get used to though.įor comfort I'd either go with the M705 or an old Performance MX. I'm not convinced by the middle click, it's on a button behind the wheel and pressing on the wheel switches between detent and infinite scrolling mode. I've held a demo model of the MX Anywhere 2s and it feels comfortable. The infinite scrolling thing is very good when scrolling through long pages of code. The side scroll wheel on the MX Master 2s is very stiff, lacks detents and I found it less useful than a normal scroll wheel with sideways clicks. If you like a small mouse forget the MX Masters, they are big and uncomfortable for those of us with small hands.

I’m ok to travel with the big size, and i probably don’t even need to travel until god know when the pandemic will come to an end. Moreover, the look does “match” the price more than Anywhere series despite having the same functionality. I’m not sure whether if I will like the ergonomic design but I do feel interested on giving a try to see if it really feels comfortable for long time usage, eapecially my work require using computer from 9 to 6. What caught my eye on this series is the ergonomic design and the side scroll wheel. While also Anywhere series is cheaper and easier to travel with, I can definitely see myself adapt to it really fast. I will be working on laptop, so travelling between home and work is usually needed (not in the current corona situation tho).ĭue to years of using g102 and g305, I’m definitely a “small mouse” guy as I find it favor the precision. So I assumed that the infinite scroll and side scroll will come in handy.
